Welcome to Field House Medical Group
We are a 3 doctor practice with a list size of approximately 12,500 patients. We work from Freshney Green Primary Care Centre, a modern, purpose-built award winning building and offer our patients a wide range of services in spacious, well equipped and comfortable surroundings. You can see information about the building and facilities at http://www.freshneygreen.nhs.uk/
We pride ourselves on being an innovative and forward thinking organisation which places much emphasis on the provision of high quality services and actively seeks the opinions of our patients on the standard of care provided.
The practice has developed its own Patient Charter which sets out the rights and responsibilities of patients and clearly indicates the standard of service the practice is aiming to deliver.
From 1st October 2018, access to primary care services across North East Lincolnshire will be improved through the introduction of pre-bookable appointments at evenings and weekends – please ask a practice receptionist for more information visit our Latest New section.
The latest guidance from the Government is to ask anyone who shows certain symptoms to self-isolate for 7 days, regardless of whether they have travelled to affected areas.
If you have a fever or high temperature (37.8 degrees and above) or a continuous cough you need to self-isolate for 7 days and avoid all but essential contact with others.
You do not need to call NHS 111, if your symptoms worsen during home isolation or you are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk. If you have no internet access you can call NHS 111.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE VIRUS OUTBREAK AND IN AN ATTEMPT TO MINIMISE THE RISKS OF INFECTION, PATIENTS WILL BE ASKED NOT TO COME INTO SURGERY. GPS WILL BE HOLDING TELEPHONE APPOINTMENTS ONLY AND WILL AGREE THE NEXT COURSE OF ACTION WITH THE PATIENT DIRECTLY.
THESE ACTIONS WERE TAKEN FOLLOWING GUIDANCE FROM NHS ENGLAND
See "Latest News" for further information
We are asking all patients upon entering the building to wash their hands at the public facilities before visiting the reception desk - washing your hands is still the first line of defence against the virus.
